Inmate Search

The Mena Jail is only a temporary, short-term facility for inmates. If you know or believe someone you know is currently being housed in the Mena Jail, you will need to contact the facility directly. It is best that you know the inmate's full name along with their date of birth.

Sending a Mail

The Mena Jail will allow inmates to receive letters from their loved ones back home. These letters will be monitored and examined by a staff member employed by the Mena Jail.

The Mena Jail has the right to refuse, dispose of, or return any letter that does not follow their strict guidelines.

Ensure you do not use any of the following:

  • Usage of Crayons

  • Drawings

  • Usage of Colored Pencils

  • Staples

  • Do Not Send Stamps, Paper, or Envelopes

  • Glitter

  • Glue

  • Sticks

Keep all letters PG-friendly as they will have a better chance of being accepted and given to the inmate.

Sending Money

Inmates in the Mena Jail will not really need money since at most they will be in the facility a month or two. But if they request you to send them funds, you can go down to the Mena Jail with a money order.

Phone Calls

All outgoing phone calls from the Mena Jail will be strictly collect calls. Collect calls will be the receiver's responsibility to pay for them. You will only get the collect call, if you have a landline phone and not a cell phone.

All calls from the Mena Jail are limited to 15-minutes.
