Arkansas Inmate Search

The Arkansas Department of Corrections seeks to provide public safety by carrying out the mandate of the courts. Within their facilities, they seek to provide a safe, humane environment for staff and inmates; strengthen the work ethic through teaching of good habits; and provide opportunities for staff and inmates to improve spiritually, mentally and physically.

There is an inmate search database on the Arkansas DOC website. The inmate locator has several fields that can be filled in to lookup an inmate. Using an inmate’s ADC number is the easiest and most precise way to locate an inmate.

Other fields include first/last name, which will search the database for all names that include what is entered in the fields (example: ‘john’ will show results that include ‘john’ and ‘johnson’). Other search criteria available includes gender, race, county, facility, photographs and criminal history.

All search results will be displayed, although results yielding large numbers of records will be displayed across several pages.
