The Perryville Jail was founded in 1859. It was first situated on West Side’s Scranton Road. It then transferred over to 613 North Fourche Avenue
PO Box 116, Perryville, AR, 72126 back in 1904.

Since the 19th century, the Perryville Division of Police was the law agency that his responsible for supporting the Perryville Jail. It was not until September of 2007, when both the Perryville Division of Police and the Perryville Jail came together and ultimately created the Division of Corrections.

Inmate Search

The Perryville Jail is only a temporary, short-term facility for inmates. If you know or believe someone you know is currently being housed in the Perryville Jail, you will need to contact the facility directly. It is best that you know the inmate's full name along with their date of birth.

Sending a Mail

The Perryville Jail will allow inmates to receive letters from their loved ones back home. These letters will be monitored and examined by a staff member employed by the Perryville Jail.

The Perryville Jail has the right to refuse, dispose of, or return any letter that does not follow their strict guidelines.

Ensure you do not use any of the following:

  • Drawings

  • Usage of Colored Pencils

  • Staples

  • Do Not Send Stamps, Paper, or Envelopes

  • Glitter

  • Glue

  • Sticks

Keep all letters PG-friendly as they will have a better chance of being accepted and given to the inmate.

Sending Money

Inmates in the Perryville Jail will not really need money since at most they will be in the facility a month or two. But if they request you to send them funds, you can go down to the Perryville Jail with a money order.

Phone Calls
