Visiting Rules

Visiting is on a first come, first served basis. You should plan on arriving at least thirty to sixty minutes prior to the visiting session you plan to attend. The popular times for visiting are the earlier evening sessions.
At Central Virginia Regional Jail, you may experience a line of people waiting to sign up for visits. An inmate may have a maximum of 3 social visitors per visit, including children. An inmate has only two visit periods per week (from Sunday to Saturday).
Each visit has a maximum length of thirty minutes. Visiting is subject to space availability.
