Visiting Rules
If you want to visit an inmate in Alexandria County Jail, the inmate must put you on their visiting list prior to your visit.

Visiting is on a first come, first served basis. You should plan on arriving at least thirty to sixty minutes prior to the visiting session you plan to attend. The popular times for visiting are the earlier evening sessions.
At Alexandria County Jail, you may experience a line of people waiting to sign up for visits. An inmate may have a maximum of 3 social visitors per visit, including children. An inmate has only two visit periods per week (from Sunday to Saturday).
