The Oregon Department of Corrections has a mission to promote public safety by holding offenders accountable for their actions and reducing the risk of future criminal behavior. Their vision is to value and engage employees, prepare offenders for re-entry, and partner with stakeholders.

The Oregon DOC website hosts an inmate locator function where one can look up an inmate by providing their SID number. Alternatively, searches can be made by entering an inmate’s full name or partial name with an * to represent missing letters (example: Johns* to match Johnson or Johnsen).
