Sending Money
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety directs family and friends to deposit funds into an inmate’s account through Jpay. Cash, checks, and money orders should not be mailed to the facility. Funds can be deposited in person at the facility as well. Be aware that a percentage of all funds transferred to an inmate will go to paying legal fees if they exist.
Phone Calls
Inmates at North Piedmont Correctional Center for Women are allowed to make calls through the system. Calls can only be made if there is money in the inmate’s account. Family and friends should create an account to deposit the funds, as well as receive calls from the inmate. An inmate must put those they wish to call on an approved caller list, so make sure that your inmate has the phone numbers of all they wish to keep in touch with.
Be aware that calls will be monitored by North Piedmont Correctional Center for Women staff.
