The Crossroads Juvenile Center was founded in 1859. It was first situated on West Side’s Scranton Road. It then transferred over to 17 Bristol Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11212 back in 1904.
Since the 19th century, the Brooklyn Division of Police was the law agency that his responsible for supporting the Crossroads Juvenile Center. It was not until September of 2007, when both the Brooklyn Division of Police and the Crossroads Juvenile Center came together and ultimately created the Division of Corrections.

Inmate Search
The Crossroads Juvenile Center is only a temporary, short-term facility for inmates. If you know or believe someone you know is currently being housed in the Crossroads Juvenile Center, you will need to contact the facility directly. It is best that you know the inmate's full name along with their date of birth.
Sending a Mail
The Crossroads Juvenile Center will allow inmates to receive letters from their loved ones back home. These letters will be monitored and examined by a staff member employed by the Crossroads Juvenile Center.
The Crossroads Juvenile Center has the right to refuse, dispose of, or return any letter that does not follow their strict guidelines.

Keep all letters PG-friendly as they will have a better chance of being accepted and given to the inmate.
Sending Money
Inmates in the Crossroads Juvenile Center will not really need money since at most they will be in the facility a month or two. But if they request you to send them funds, you can go down to the Crossroads Juvenile Center with a money order.
Phone Calls
All outgoing phone calls from the Crossroads Juvenile Center will be strictly collect calls. Collect calls will be the receiver's responsibility to pay for them. You will only get the collect call, if you have a landline phone and not a cell phone.
All calls from the Crossroads Juvenile Center are limited to 15-minutes.

If you would like to visit an inmate here at the Crossroads Juvenile Center, you will need to contact the facility. The facility has not put up their visitation hours, if any.
The best thing you can possibly do, since the Crossroads Juvenile Center is temporary and very, very short-term holding pen for many of these inmates is to contact the facility and see if the inmate is currently in jail or out in the courthouse and if you can visit them.
