Sending a Mail

You are free to send mail to inmates in Cass County Jail All mail except legal mail (such as a letter from an attorney or the courts) is inspected for prohibited materials and content before it is delivered to the inmate.

Returned Mail

Mail that contains prohibited or fails to include the person in jail’s name, gallery, and housing unit will be returned to the sender. It typically takes several weeks for mail to be returned.

Commissary account

In person at kiosk: Deposit money in person 24 hours a day, seven days a week using on-site kiosks at both Cass County Jail, 303 Avenue A, Plattsmouth, NE, 68048-1964. You must have a valid driver’s license or state ID.
