The RRM Orlando manages several residential reentry centers (RRCs) in the Wildwood area – or halfway houses – to assist inmates close to release who need a safe, structured, supervised place to live. These centers often provide employment counseling and job placement, financial management instruction, and other classes and programs that help an offender with the transition back into society.

Inmate Search

Inmates can be located by calling 352-689-7390 or emailing COR/[email protected] and providing the inmate’s name and registration number.

Inmates at RRM Orlando can be located online through the Federal Bureau of Prisons website. One can locate an inmate by searching their BOP, DCDC, FBI or INS number or by their first and last name. Additional information that can be used to narrow down search results is race, age and sex. The inmate’s institution is listed in the search results.

Sending a Mail

Correspondence is encouraged between inmates and loved ones during incarceration. Check with the inmate’s specific facility for the address to send mail to, as well as any rules on what can and cannot be mailed.

Sending Money

The Federal Bureau of Prisons website lays out a few different ways that money can be deposited into an inmate’s commissary account. Inmates are not allowed to possess physical money, but can use their account money to make purchases at the institution store.

Funds can be sent electronically through MoneyGram or Western Union. Family and friends must make accounts with either service. Or one can send a money order through the mail to

Phone Calls

Inmates are allowed to make phone calls. Calls may be monitored, and in most cases the inmate must pay to make the calls, although sometimes the receiving party may be charged.

Visiting Rules

Visitation is encouraged from family, friends, coworkers and other acquaintances. Each residential reentry location should be contacted for visitation schedules and guidelines specific to that facility. The bureau of prisons has some general regulations for those who wish to visit to keep the experience safe.

Before Visiting

When inmates are checked into the institution, they must fill out a visitor information form where they list potential visitors. That form will be mailed to each person on the visitor list, who should then complete the form and send it back to the address listed on it. Further background information may need to be obtained on potential visitors.

Length of Visits

An inmate gets four hours per month of visiting time, with the potential for more time granted based on institution.

Dress Code

Clothing should not be revealing, see-through, or contain profane images or language. Prohibited items of clothing include bathing suits, low-cut, backless shirts/dresses, crop tops, sleeveless shirts, hats/caps, mini skirts/shorts, and clothing that resembles inmate clothing (khaki or green military-like clothing).
