This information is updated every 30 minutes. When a person's information is entered into the Orange County Corrections Inmate Management System, that information is updated. When a person is released from jail, they will no longer appear in this database.

Sending a Mail

To ensure safety and security, the staff at Orange County Jail opens all mail before it is delivered to the inmate.

Rules for Sending Mail

Do not send the following:

  • Stamps
  • Envelopes
  • Paper
  • Pens/pencils
  • inappropriate pictures or photos (no Polaroids accepted; only 5 pictures per envelope, no larger than 5x7)
  • plastic cards
  • phone cards
  • stickers
  • lipstick marks or any other visible unknown substances on envelopes or letters ( perfume, droplets, white out, etc.)
  • padded or bubble mailers or glued items.

Sending Money

Inmate's money accounts are used to buy items from the inmate commissary and to pay for various medical services and jail fees.

Do not send checks or cash. Money orders are acceptable. On the money order, include the inmate's name and booking number.

Visiting Rules

All inmates are allowed three video visits per week. Video visitation cuts down on waiting in line and being searched. Visits are monitored and may be recorded The Video Visitation Center is open every day from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the last visitation session starting at 9 p.m.

Attorneys and law enforcement officers can meet face-to-face with inmates. Attorneys and law enforcement officers with a professional need for an in-person visit should report to the North Perimeter Building (3722 Vision Blvd., Orlando, FL  32839).

How to Schedule a Video Visit

  • Visitors MUST call to schedule the first appointment at least ONE DAY in advance.
  • Call (407) 836-8061 to schedule appointments.
  • Each visitor will be issued a unique visitor ID number, which must be provided when scheduling visits.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes early.
  • Bring your valid driver's license, passport or state and/or military ID.

After you have registered as described above, you can schedule future visits online.

  • The first time you access the scheduling website and enter your email address, you will need to click on "Forgot your password? Click here to reset it." Your password will be sent to the email address you provided.
  • After you receive your password, you will be able to log on and schedule visits online.
