Of course, you may or may not be looking for your loved one. You may think that the Sebring Jail has their records and mugshots online. Unfortunately, with how fast the booking and releasing process is done in the facility, the city of Sebring jail does not have this information out for the general public.

If your loved one has not come home in a few days and you expect them to be in the Sebring Jail, you can contact the jail directly.

Sending a Mail

With the Sebring Jail being strictly a short-term facility, inmates in the Sebring Jail will not receive this privilege.

Sending a letter or a care package to an inmate is strictly for facilities that keep their inmates longer than 72 hours (3 days).

If you send an inmate in the Sebring Jail a letter or a package, the letter or package will either be disposed of, refused, or sent directly back to you.

Please do not send anything to the Sebring Jail. By the time it gets there the inmate would have either been released or the inmate would have been transferred off to the Highlands County Jail.

Sending Money

Again, same with sending money to the Sebring Jail. The Sebring Jail is a short-term facility. Inmates in the Sebring Jail do not have the privilege of getting or needing money while they are here.

Please do not mail any cash, money orders, or cashier’s check to the Sebring Jail. Please do not come down to the Sebring Jail with any cash, money orders, or cashier’s checks. These will be refused.

It is best to wait for the inmate to get transferred out to the Highlands County Jail or another facility on that level where they will need funds. They will not need any funds while in the Sebring Jail.

Phone Calls

The one and only privilege inmates will have in the Sebring Jail will be access to a telephone in their jail cell.

Every cell in the Sebring Jail has a telephone in it. Inmates will be permitted to use that telephone at their direction.

Inmates will only be able to make collect calls. So, if you and your family does not have access to a landline, or the inmate does not know the landline number, you will never receive the calls. Collect calls do not work on a cell phone, unfortunately.

Inmates can receive visits from their legal counsel though. Inmates are not permitted to receive visits from their friends and family.
